My Grandfather's parents were Henry Robert Thomas Palmer and Florence Marian Palmer my Great Grandfather was named after his father Robert Anthony Palmer and Gt his Grandfather my Gt Gt Gt Grandfather was Thomas Palmer it was Thomas who moved to Bedminster and and it was Robert who started the families glue works at Locks Mill Florence was born in Castle St, Bristol James Little and his wife Mary later on moved to College Green, where they ran a Turkish Bath this was next to the East End of Cathedral Henry was the eldest of 8 children my Grandfather had 6 Aunts & 1 uncle none of the aunts married his uncle was married but his wife died young and he never remarried The glue works remained in the family until the Second World War when it was bombed
