Sandra my former Sister-in-law said this of my Grandfather I remember your grandfather as a quiet , generous man who liked to listen to conversation more than participate . He needed routine . He took great pride in his family especially in your father. My Younger sister said this of him The most memorable memories of Grandpa that I can remembered was meeting him in Christmas 1973 with his very smart outfit with high braces and white hair and the silver cross with chain that I got given by him for my first Xmas gift which I still got. The other things I remembered he used to do constantly was patting my head like a small child and having an afternoon tea at his house with Sheila with silver tray services when visiting him and him coming to stay with us in Swindon and Rochester annually etc.
